Man, I am sooo glad that Cody was home last night. I woke up in the middle of the night with a God awful cramp on my right side of my stomach. The very same thing happened with Hailee around about this time in my pregnancy. I remember thinking, "OMG was that a contraction?! Am I going in labor?!" lol. BUT now that I have gone through labor and have been through something similar to what I went through last night, I wasn't worried about it too much. However, Cody being there helped me through it. I woke up and couldn't take any deep breaths because the pain only got stronger if I did, and I couldn't move. I laid there for a bit, I can't tell you how long 30 sec- 1 min maybe? I tried moving to my other side, but I was literally stuck in the position I was in. So I woke Cody up, he rubbed my belly and then helped me to turn over to my other side. Thank God for him! I don't know how long I would've been stuck in that position in pain if he hadn't been there to help me out of it. My guess is that Andrew was in a bad position for me. At least, that's what my mom told me when I had it with Hailee. Luckily, Cody was by myside then too. But we were more concerned with Hailee, of course, since we didn't know what to expect.
On top of that, I am sick. Blah. I have a cold. I've been dealing with it for going on day 3 now. I can't breathe out my nose, and my throat is kind of sore. My main problem is my nose and that I feel sneezy. Other than that, I'm fine. I am tempted to take something for this, but I really hate to. This is my second cold of the season, which is crazy because I hardly get sick. Cody says it is because of how cold it is up here. He's been sick too, and he hardly gets sick. Hopefully, I don't give him what I have. Hopefully, I will be over it soon. :)

35 Weeks!
Sometimes I can hardly believe that I am 35 weeks. I feel so close I can taste it! haha. I had Hailee at 38 weeks, and I really have high hopes that I will have Andrew before 40 weeks as well. Especially since I have been feeling a lot of different sensations down below. I never felt with Hailee what I have been feeling the past couple days. I have researched it, and have considered it being Braxton Hicks and/or my cervix starting to dilate. I go to the Dr on Monday, to get checked and have an ultrasound so hopefully I will have some better answers for what is going on. I've also had some other issues, which I don't care to discuss publicly, that I plan on discussing with my dr. I just really feel close to having Andrew. With Hailee I never knew. I never experienced the Braxton Hicks, and other things that I have experienced the last week or so. So this is all new to me. It makes me wonder how I'm going to go into labor. My water broke with Hailee, and if I had to guess again I would guess it'll break again. When I get the 'sensations' down there, it really feels like if I push hard enough my water could break. haha. Yep, I definitely think thats Braxton Hicks that I'm experiencing. I don't want to call it painful, but it's uncomfortable. When I have them, it feels like I could go right into labor. You know what the funny part is? I actually enjoy having the Braxton Hicks, even tho they are uncomfortable. It just reminds me that it's almost time for me to see my bouncing baby boy! With both pregnancies, I've always started off feeling so scared about the actual process of labor itself. I could never wrap my mind around how a baby comes out of a woman. But then, as I get towards the end I am just so ready to have the baby, I really don't care about it anymore. I just want to have the baby. That is the point in which I am at right now. Time will only tell when my little Drewy Bear will be here.

Momma To Bug and Bear
Just wanted to note that I changed the name of my blog to "Momma to Bug and Bear". It used to be "Diary of Hailee" but I feel as tho the new name is more fitting. Bug is Hailee and Bear is Andrew. We call them Hailee-bug and Drewy-bear. :)
Update!
It's been awhile since I have given an update, so I figured I had a free moment and would now do so. I am currently 33.5 weeks pregnant. So far, everything has been going great. The dr. said my blood pressure is good, my weight is good, Andrew is looking good, and I tested negative for gestational diabetes. I couldn't have asked for a better pregnancy thus far. I have the common pregnancy complaints as far as back hurting, can't get comfortable at night, uncomfortable sitting/standing for a long period of time, tired, hungry a lot, etc. But again, I couldn't have asked for a better pregnancy. When people ask me how I'm doing or feeling, I just smile and say fine. :) I had Hailee at 38 weeks, so I'm really hoping that Andrew will come around the same time as Hailee did. Hailee seems really excited for Andrew to come. The other day, at a friends house, she had a babydoll under her shirt almost the whole playdate. She gives 'him' hugs and kisses. I know they are going to have a great bond. I can't wait to see them two together.
Right now in Hampton Roads, the hospitals have a policy where no one under 18 is allowed to visit. I am having such a hard time with this policy. I really really want Hailee to be able to come up to the hospital to see Andrew. I don't know how I'm going to cope the whole time in the hospital w/o seeing her. If that policy is still in effect when I have Andrew, I'm going to see if we can get out of there earlier...that is assuming that Andrew and I will be healthy and fine. I know other mom's who have more than one kid have been able to leave the hospital early as long as everything is ok. So, I don't know. We will see.
My next appt is on the first of February. I will be having an ultrasound to see how big Andrew is, which I am stoked about. I will keep you updated!

It's a Boy!
We had our big ultrasound today. The baby is looking great! We found out that we are expecting a baby boy! I am still shocked over the news, but I'm excited. It'll be neat to experience a different world apart from girl world. It will definitely be a learning experience for me, as I am much more of a girlie girl than anything else. This little boy will be entering the world of a princess obsessed sister, it will be interesting! I know that Hailee will take good care of her little brother, tho. I can't wait to see how the two will bond, I have good feelings about them.:)
Cody is very happy. He finally got his little boy. It was amazing to see how excited he was when they mentioned the word "BOY". It was a moment that I have daydreamed about for awhile. We are so blessed to be able to experience both a boy and a girl. I'm a very happy Mommy! I look forward to meeting our little man. :)
Hailee has been telling us for weeks now that we are having a boy, so she was not surprised when we found out for sure that it was a boy. She simply said "I know!". The baby's heartrate was 147, and he weighs 11 ounces..according to the ultrasound. He is currently laying across my stomach, side to side, facing my back.

Weeks 8 & 9
For the past 7 days, I have been on antibiotics. 7 days ago, my nurse called and told me that I had a bladder infection when I went in for my appt. I thought that I didn't recognize symptoms of a uti, until a few days after taking antibiotics. I do think that I was having symptoms. For instance, night time was the most uncomfortable for me. I would go to the bathroom 4-5x a night. And before and after going, it felt like everything was so tight and uncomfortable in my bladder. It really made me uncomfortable. It would only bother me right before, and then a couple minutes after using the bathroom. I wrote everything off as just being pregnant. Another thing was that I was way beyond tired. Many times during the day, I would just want to pass out. I noticed all of this after I started taking my antibiotics and first noticed I wasn't having to use the bathroom 4-5x's..more like 2-3x's..and I wasn't uncomfortable. I now have more energy. I still get tired, but it's nothing like it was. I'm not having severe spells of just wanting to sleep.
So knowing all of this now, I'm going to listen to my body a little bit more and try not to assume something is because I'm pregnant. I have now finished my prescribed amount of the antibiotics, and I'm happy about that. The less pills I have to take, the happier I am..lol.
Right now, I'm not showing..so I've been updating 2 weeks at a time. There are times where I feel like I'm showing more, and then others where I'm not. Just got some water retention going on. I have held a pretty steady weight for the past week. Weeks 5-8, I put on about 6 lbs. My boobs have also grown, so I'm blaming them for some of the weight..lol. It's definitely nice to have them so full, I lost my boobs after Hailee..haha. They have been sore, tho. They are just now starting to not be as sore.
Now for some belly pics:

Weeks 6 & 7
Good Morning! Today I am 7 weeks and 2 days. I am anxiously awaiting crossing the 12 week mark. I'm so ready to start feeling like myself again. I get queasy throughout the day, everyday. The symptoms have let up a bit, but not enough..lol. I have staples in my diet, such as gingerbread cookies, gingerale, toast, banana nut muffin, water of course, bananas, applesauce..and I believe that's it. Those are the things that make me feel better. I had chicken soup last week, and it really hit the spot. I love nice and light meals, that aren't heavy on my stomach.
This pregnancy is different so far than when I was pregnant with Hailee. This time around I have to eat to offset the nausea. I don't know if I mentioned this before in my blog, but I'm gonna update. I have gained at least 5 pounds because of it. Everytime my stomach is empty I have to put something in it. If I wait too long, the thought of food just makes me cringe..but once I put something in my mouth and make myself eat it..I feel better. It's crazy. So yeah..I have a huge appetite right now, even tho I feel queasy. I'm grateful that I can keep food down. I still have over 4 weeks left tho, anything can change. The only hope I have is that I never threw up with Hailee. I felt like it, but never did. However, sometimes I just wanna throw up just to feel better. I've gagged many times, and have stood over the toilet feeling like I was going to throw up..but I got nothing.
I had my first prenatal appt last week. Everything went well. I got everything done..pap, urine test, bloodwork, u/s, heard/saw the heart beating, etc. The heart was beating at 120 bpm. I thought it was kinda low, but I was 6 weeks..and apparently when the heart starts beating it starts off slow and gradually gets faster thru pregnancy. We first heard Hailee's heartbeat at 8 weeks, and it was around 145 bpm. I don't remember exactly. So there's a two week difference there of when I heard this little ones heartbeat, and when I heard Hailee's. My next appt is Aug 3rd, and I meet with an actual dr. The first appt I just met with the nurse practitioner. They were really nice and helpful at this place I went to. They watched Hailee for me while I got my bloodwork done. And they just seemed very genuine and caring. They knew I had a miscarriage for my last pregnancy, and they also knew my history and concerns of having twins...so I was able to get an u/s..and I didn't even request it. They offered it.
Hailee was so cute, tho. The day before the appt and the day of, she kept telling me we were going to get the baby out today! haha. Of course I told her not today, the baby has to get bigger. She is already eagerly awaiting the arrival of her little bro or sis. I wonder if that'll change once the baby gets here and starts crying and taking some of mommies attention. I think she'll do great tho. She has always seemed like a 'little momma' to me. She is going to help me pick stuff out for the baby, and I plan on making her feel as involved as possibly.
SO there's a little update on what's been going on. Below is the comparison pictures of week 6 and 7, of this pregnancy and Hailee's pregnancy.
